My worcester 24i combi boiler heats the rad's but, when th hot taps r turned on the boiler wont heat the water?

my worcester 24i boiler will heat the radiators ok, but whne any of the hot taps are turned on, the boiler doesnt kick in or ignite, and wont heat the water. tried turning of at the mains, but still no luck... help
