Why do black mainstream rappers do SO LITTLE to uplift the black community?

I love hip hop but mainly underground. How can these rappers sleep at night when they sell violence, ism, and horrible values on all the tracks they put out. Hip hop is one of the most head genres of music in the world and is a perfect chance for black people to voice their concerns and help improve things but instead its all guns, ho's, money, etc.
