Trade Help?

It is truely embaring that your first pick in the draft was Joe Mauer. That is just a terrible draft strategy in the first place. On to an answer. Yes, get rid of Boof and Mauer. Mauer's quad will bother him all season because he is a catcher and they put an exuberant amout of pressure on their quads every single pitch. Boof is just Boof. He will get you K's and a decent ERA and WHIP but its nothing to write home about. The Twins play in the toughest division in baseball and wins are hard to come by in the AL Central. Dontrelle is a very good pitcher who is slumping mightily to start the season. I think second half he will have a sub 4 ERA which isn't all that great to begin with. You know what Adam Dunn is going to give you. Low batting Avg, high strikeout totals, high homerun totals and high RBI totals with an above avg runs total. The only reason you might not want to pull the trigger on this trade is because there are rumblings that Dunn might get moved. One of the targets for Dunn is the Padres. If he gets traded to San Diego his HR, RBI, and Runs totals will decline because of the stadium and the Padres line up is just awful. Other than that get this trade done.
