Develope a framwork between a company strategic planning and its Human Resources planning proces?
Strategic planning sets the basis for all of the company functions to operate. Specifically for HR, it gives them an idea of manpower within the company and what types of manpower needed. With that information, HR can determine the hiring needs for the future plus the educational needs of the employees. Say the manufacturing operation is going to automate the embly line. That is going to decrease the workforce on the line and require people that have different programming and maintenance needs. May also need more material handling requirements. So HR needs to look at the skills of the people on the line and see if you can increase their skills to use them for the future needs.
