I have been going to a new dentist. When he pulls my teeth he injects a needle into my nerve to numb it. My?
I have a new dentist who when he pulls my teeth he injects a needle into my nerve by my tooth to numb it. I almost go flying out of my chair. It hurts so bad. I told the dentist I never was afraid of needles to pull teeth till now I have never felt this kind of pain before. It is truly excrutiating. I am not a wimp with pain either. He said all dentist put the needle in the nerve so it numbs faster. I don't ever recall a dentist hurting me like this from a needle to numb my mouth for extraction. I was never afraid to go to the dentist to have a tooth pulled because the needle never hurt. Now I am petrified to go back to him. Have any of you ever had this experience? Thanks
