Mutual fund selection is it OK in SIP (12 Installation) or STP Mode (1 Installation)?

Mutual funds are time tested and rewarding instruments for long term investments. Selection of a particular fund for investing is critical to the returns sought by the investor. Basing the selection of a fund on the developing sector in the country is a good criteria. Currently, Infrastructure funds ought to do well; among others, Reliance funds would prove good for the long term returns.
