Why did YOU get your dog?

I got my dogs because my parents thought me and my brother needed more things to do on weekends then just sit and watch TV and my dogs have been alot of fun these past seven months. I have a 9 month old Golden Retriever that is very lovable and just loves everybody so much. We also got a German Shepherd and he is 5 months. We got him because our golden retriever was very lonely. I was scared of dogs but I started hanging around more and more dogs and my fears just went away. Our family was depressing and boring but when we got our dogs they just brought more life into our lives. I love my dogs alot and so do my other family members
